Endoscopy Nurse Role at PennState Health

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Endoscopy Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Position

The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour day shift schedule. This is a staff nursing position, offering a range of opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing personalized nursing care plans
  • Administer medications, monitoring patients for reactions and side effects
  • Maintain accurate medical records, tracking patient progress and symptoms
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Hold BLS certification prior to orientation completion
  • Obtain AHA ACLS certification within the end-of-orientation period
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
