About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Endoscopy at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. As an RN, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • BLS certification prior to orientation completion
  • AHA ACLS certification within the first six months of employment
  • A bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
