Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll work on preparing roadway, street, and highway design elements using local and AASHTO standards. Your responsibilities will include working with a team as a project manager or task leader, producing plans, and managing day-to-day communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare roadway, street, and highway design elements using local and AASHTO standards
- Work with a team as a project manager or task leader for the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates
- Produce plans, including roadway sections, alignment/right of way plans, temporary erosion control plans, and more
- Manage day-to-day communication with clients, support and advise junior engineers, and write reports and technical memos
- Perform other duties as needed
We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PE licensure, and experience using CAD design software. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in highway design and municipal roadway design.
