Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization team at SSM Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform as a circulator, scrub, or monitor on the Cath Lab procedure team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Administer medications to patients, including critically ill patients, and report any abnormal information to physicians in a timely manner.
  • Enter patient orders and charges accurately, and provide clear patient instruction on what to expect during the perioperative procedure.
  • Provide education to patients and families based on assessed needs, and document education provided.
  • Assist families to the cardiology area or cath lab area as needed, and perform point of care testing according to policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
