Cath Lab RN Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for an immediate travel nurse opening in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures to diagnose heart conditions or as a treatment.
  • Participate in angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
  • Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
  • Monitor and maintain EKG equipment.
Requirements:
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • 2 years of experience in acute care.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Candidates should possess good stress-coping skills and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
