Role Summary:

The Electrical Operations Supervisor is tasked with the construction, testing, and maintenance of both AC and DC power systems specifically tailored for the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely submission of all necessary documentation to finalize daily tasks.
  • Oversees the safe transport of personnel and materials to and from various job sites.
  • Adheres to all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations consistently.
  • Maintains compliance with both company and client policies at all times.
  • Installs, troubleshoots, and decommissions battery power systems, batteries, A panels, transformers, generators, alarms, and various interconnect/transport equipment.
  • Interprets single line diagrams effectively.
  • Troubleshoots power plant, transformer, and generator systems proficiently.
  • Diagnoses and resolves customer alarm issues.
  • Executes proper installation and removal of various battery systems, along with basic preventative maintenance at cellular sites.
  • Conducts preventative maintenance as necessary.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrates basic time management and organizational abilities.
  • Exhibits flexibility in scheduling, with work hours dependent on operational needs.
  • Willingness to travel locally as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Training:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • California Electrical Certification is advantageous.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of low voltage systems.
  • Ability to understand a detailed scope of work (SOW).
Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with generators, particularly in T-Mobile and AT&T systems.
  • Open to frequent out-of-town travel.

Compensation: $35-38/hr
