Position Overview:

As a Guest Educator, you will assume the responsibilities of the regular classroom instructor when necessary. Your key duties will encompass:
  • Delivering effective classroom instruction tailored to the subject matter and grade level.
  • Keeping precise records and ensuring timely submission.
  • Being accessible for parent-teacher conferences and aiding students with makeup assignments.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of students who may be facing challenges or excelling.
  • Participating in faculty meetings and school events.
  • Adhering to assigned responsibilities from school administration.
  • Presenting a structured course outline to students at the start of each semester.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as specified in Board Policies and State Regulations.

It is essential for you to foster a supportive environment where students feel comfortable discussing important topics and engaging in open dialogue.

Your role involves presenting diverse viewpoints impartially, promoting critical thinking, and ensuring high-quality instructional delivery to enhance student learning.

Qualifications:



- Bachelor's Degree
- Substitute Teaching Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Compensation Details:



The daily remuneration for a Guest Educator is $150.00 when covering 5 class periods within the same school day. For fewer periods or at block scheduled institutions, the compensation is $75.00 per day.

After the 21st day of the same assignment, the compensation will increase to $*** per day, retroactively applicable for the prior 20 days of service.
