Job Title: Day Shift Maintenance & Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Day Shift Maintenance & Engineering Manager to oversee our 24/7 operation. This role involves managing staff from both the Maintenance and Engineering Departments, handling capital projects, working within a budget, and overseeing the LOTO program. The position requires about 40% of the time in the office and 60% of the time providing hands-on management to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of 10-12 engineers, technicians, and mechanics
  • Oversee capital projects and work within a budget
  • Develop and implement maintenance and engineering strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals

Requirements:

  • Basic engineering knowledge
  • Capital projects management
  • Electrical knowledge up to 480v 3-phase
  • Hydraulics
  • CNCs
  • PLCs
  • CAD
