Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax guidance to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to clients year-round
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique tax needs and goals
- Conduct tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools, ensuring clients feel confident and informed
- Identify opportunities to grow business, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring expertise and accuracy in all client interactions
- 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
- Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
