About the Role

At DICK'S SPORTING GOODS INC, we're committed to creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate in our Apparel Department, you'll play a critical role in delivering first-class service and inspiring our teammates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet every customer and proactively approach them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
  • Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty programs and private label credit card enrollment.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company information and create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and safe.
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
Requirements
  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15-35 lbs. items repetitively.
  • Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking and work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time.
