We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the precision and quality of our electronic assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize tweezers and small hand tools, operate a microscope, and manage soldering iron tasks while adhering to safety protocols, including the use of a respirator and solvent degreaser.
- Conduct manual soldering for surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components, meticulously following assembly drawings and handling optical fiber leads (training provided).
- Perform detailed assembly work under a microscope, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Interpret and comprehend procedures, documentation, and technical drawings.
- Engage in light computer work while strictly following established procedures and drawings.
- Certification in industry standards: IPC J-STD-001 (including space addendum) is required; IPC-610 certification is preferred, and MIL-STD-883 is a plus.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on PCB and electronic assembly, specifically in SMT and through-hole soldering.
- Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment is mandatory.
- Familiarity with optics and lasers is advantageous.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and proficiency in using small tools are essential.
- Ability to understand and follow procedures, documentation, and technical drawings.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
