The Association of Academic Museums & Galleries is seeking a distinguished faculty member at the level of Professor or Associate Professor to lead the Arts Management Program. This role requires a commitment to the principles of social justice and equity within the realm of arts management.

The Arts Management Program is recognized for its international and interdisciplinary approach, attracting a diverse student body. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about fostering engagement between artistic works and their audiences, particularly in the context of the evolving cultural, socioeconomic, and political landscapes that impact sustainable arts practices.

Our organization is dedicated to enhancing diversity within the arts management sector at all levels. This is a pivotal time for both the field and our program, and we seek a leader with strong collaborative skills who can effectively shape and advance our vision through creative partnerships with faculty, students, artists, community organizations, and various university departments.

Applicants should possess a PhD or terminal degree in a relevant field, along with teaching experience in the U.S. university system. Experience in arts organization management and a robust publication record or equivalent achievements are essential. Administrative experience is also preferred.

Compensation will be aligned with the qualifications of the selected candidate and will be competitive for a tenured faculty position at a public research institution.
