Position Summary:

Our Associate Investigator program offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in the investigative field. This program is designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to conduct field surveillance for clients who suspect fraudulent insurance claims. Responsibilities may also include performing field interviews and gathering recorded statements from individuals with potential insights into a suspected claim. Under the guidance of a field supervisor, participants will receive comprehensive training to master their responsibilities. Continuous training ensures skill enhancement and career advancement opportunities as one progresses through various training stages.

Qualifications:

  • No prior investigative experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in military or law enforcement is advantageous.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • A valid state-issued driver's license is required.
  • Current auto insurance coverage of 100/100/50 is necessary.
  • Licensing under agency regulations may be required in certain jurisdictions.

Equipment Requirements:

  • Must possess a well-maintained vehicle, ideally with tinted windows.
  • Access to a functional laptop and reliable internet service is essential.

Work Environment:

  • Surveillance activities typically commence at 6:00 am.
  • While start times are generally known, end times may vary based on situational demands.
  • Investigators often work unconventional hours, with on-site durations ranging from 3 to 12 hours daily, depending on client requirements.
  • Weekend and holiday work is common, as these times often yield higher activity levels.
  • Investigators are responsible for a two-hour radius around their residence.
  • Independent work is standard, requiring patience and focus, with minimal distractions in the vehicle.
  • It is advisable to prepare for varying temperatures in the vehicle by bringing food and hydration.
  • Daily reporting, including summaries and video uploads, is required following surveillance activities.
