Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate OB/GYN Sonographer to join our team at Associated Physicians, LLP. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing obstetric and pelvic diagnostic ultrasounds, including first trimester dating and viability ultrasounds, follow-up obstetrical growth ultrasounds, amniotic fluid indices and biophysical profiles, and gynecologic pelvic ultrasounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality obstetric and pelvic diagnostic ultrasounds, applying medical terminology, anatomical, and physiological knowledge to ensure accurate image interpretation.
  • Assist physicians with sonohysterograms and ultrasound-guided gynecologic procedures, such as IUD insertions.
  • Maintain proficiency in sonography techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program.
  • Certification with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in OB/GYN (OB).
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique and medical imaging procedures.
  • One-year sonography experience in OB/GYN (OB).
  • Previous experience in a clinic setting.
  • Previous experience with Epic and PACS.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
