Job Title: Controls Engineer

EnerSys Delaware, Inc. is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for leading plant-wide and corporate-wide projects to optimize, upgrade, and enhance the controls systems of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement PLC and Robot logic changes
  • Modify documentation for electrical schematics and operations instructions
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and operations
  • Coordinate electrical control equipment build, installation, and training
Requirements:
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Strong robotic experience in Fanuc and Vision Guided Systems
  • Strong PLC experience with Allen Bradley and Modicon with ladder logic and structured text
  • Electrical and electronic troubleshooting knowledge
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Sercos, Device Net, Ethernet I/P
  • Proficient in AutoCAD electrical and SolidWorks
Qualifications:
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in engineering
  • 1-3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • College level written and verbal English skills
  • College level Geometry, Algebra, and Trigonometry
