CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Good Samaritan Society - FT Days

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Bismarck, ND. As a CNA, you will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities- Provide assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
