Job Title: Plumber Foreman III

At Modigent, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber Foreman III to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of plumbers to deliver exceptional quality and customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily guidance, training, and direction to the plumbing crew.
  • Oversee and direct the assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing systems according to project specifications and appropriate trade and building codes.
  • Develop solutions to prevent issues from becoming problems.
  • Review projects with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subs are procured.
  • Conduct physical surveys of projects with the Superintendent to ascertain conditions and report back to the PM in writing, if required.
  • Take off projects in a timely and thorough manner with the Superintendent.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions, including scheduling, material control, and rentals.
  • Provide daily job completion percentages.
  • Ensure all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies, and other requirements as they occur.
  • Document all incidents as they occur and notify the Project Manager and Superintendent. Recommend and implement corrective action.
  • Responsible for ensuring all jobs have weekly reports completed and submitted, including safety/toolbox reports, preconstruction, weekly production reports, and any project-specific reports.
  • Conduct inspections on jobs, ensuring they meet Pueblo Mechanical standards, and participate as needed in start-ups and coordinate with contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and owners as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the shop for production scheduling and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a journeyman plumber or able to obtain a license.
  • 4+ years of experience running work.
  • Able to complete an 8-week look ahead for their project.
  • Able to manage a crew of any size.
  • Able to read blueprints and prepare materials lists.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and punctual.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally.
  • Must be professional in appearance and speech.
  • Experience with government facilities a plus.

Working Conditions:

This is a safety-sensitive position. The successful candidate must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climbing ladders.
