Job Summary:

The Assessment Team Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the assessment team at Stars Behavioral Health Group. This position is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and organizing assessment documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the auditing of assessment documentation to ensure conformity with Medi-Cal, Los Angeles County, and internal standards and policies.
  • Assist with assessment packet review and maintain up-to-date referral and triage logs.
  • Provide administrative support to the Assessment team, including coordinating with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' college or AA degree preferred with 2 years of relevant business experience.
  • Experience in a mental health setting or QA position preferred.
  • Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
