Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our Oncology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on cancer treatment options and side effects.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (or completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program)
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
