Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and support services to individuals with mental health conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and safety of our patients by providing a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Obtain vital signs on assigned adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Provide care to patients in seclusion/restraint according to 27-10 regulations and department policy and procedure.
  • Collect laboratory specimens on assigned patients as directed by RN staff.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or GED, as well as 1-3 years of relevant experience. You should also possess strong human relations and effective communication skills. Additionally, you must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate knowledge and applicability of the principles of growth and development over the life span.

Salary & Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $21.82 - $29.53 per hour. Denver Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including up to 27 paid days off per year, immediate retirement plan employer contribution up to 9.5%, and generous medical plans. Other benefits include free RTD EcoPass, on-site employee fitness center, and tuition reimbursement & assistance.
