Support People in Their Mental Health Journey

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Recovery Support Specialist to join our team at WellPower, a leading organization providing innovative mental health services.

About the Role:

  • Orient individuals to programs and services, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to develop and facilitate skills groups, promoting recovery and well-being.
  • Assist individuals in obtaining services that align with their life goals and needs, including community and natural supports.
  • Promote collaboration and sharing of resources, addressing food, clothing, transportation, recreation, medical, insurance, housing, shelter, and employment needs.
  • Help identify each person's strengths, supports, and problem-solving techniques, encouraging resilience and overcoming fears.
  • Attend program team meetings, trainings, and supervision as scheduled.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • PS II: High School diploma or GED equivalent, with a Colorado Peer and Family Specialist Certification upon hire.
  • Lived experience: Receive counseling and treatment for mental health issues, with ongoing recovery efforts.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the mental health field or social work/human services field.

Estimated Salary Range: $27.35 - $29.85 per hour, based on location and qualifications.
