Job Overview

The Fresh Mark facility is seeking applications for a 2nd Shift Shipping Clerk/Customer Service Specialist within our Cold Storage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that customers receive their orders accurately packed and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and document all necessary paperwork for proper product shipment, ensuring that all documents are correctly filed.
  • Coordinate customer orders for collection by liaising with designated freight carriers.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures while executing responsibilities safely.
  • Order and manage shipping materials and supplies to ensure consistent inventory levels.
  • Receive incoming raw materials and supplies, reporting any defects or shortages.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.

The typical work schedule for this position is five days a week (Monday to Friday), with potential overtime based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with a focus on accurate data entry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities; must effectively communicate with colleagues, freight carriers, and supervisors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to address and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Capable of working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
