Job Title: Quality Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Auditor to join our team at Amcor plc. As a Quality Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products meets or exceeds customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical and visual testing on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to determine fitness for use.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of inspection data and defect information.
  • Generate notices of non-conforming material and submit claims to suppliers for defective material.
  • Participate in internal system and process audits, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Follow laboratory control methods and document all tested samples according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quality records and file necessary reports and records as required.
  • Assist and train General Technicians in the sorting process and generate all necessary paperwork related to assessing waste and its cause.
Requirements:
  • High School or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Quality systems and basic PC skills.
Physical Demands:

The ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required. This position may require prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending, and/or reaching, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, hearing, and speaking.

Must be able to hold, touch, feel, and manipulate product and equipment in a safe manner. Manual dexterity is required. Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to work on rotating shifts as required. Must be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs.
