Job Description:

The Admitting Representative will be responsible for interviewing patients and/or family members to obtain demographic and financial data, verifying insurance coverage, and distributing patient documents to relevant departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

  • Registration and verification of patient information
  • Coordination of volunteer duties
  • Update of patient information and records
  • Compliance with emergency/disaster protocols and departmental procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology essential

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Prior admitting experience
  • Bilingual skills

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
