We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Women's Services team at Novant Health. As a Women's Services RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence in our healthcare organization.
About the RoleThis part-time position is available on our night shift, and you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care for patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current compact licensure in the appropriate state.
- 2-year/Associate Degree in Nursing, with a preference for a 4-year/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Consecutive year experience within a defined specialty (Med Surg, Tele, Critical Care, ED, or Women's Services).
- Specialty certification within two years of hire.
