Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team at The Staffing Exchange. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operation and programming of all industrial control systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and troubleshoot the plant's local area network (LAN), collaborating with corporate IS support for seamless integration. Install and maintain desktop hardware and software.
  • Program PLC logic and HMI interfaces for new projects and system modifications; perform system data and file backups, including PLC and HMI files.
  • Modify and create electrical schematics using AutoCAD; work with vendors to define and implement control solutions.
  • Provide technical support and consultation for industrial controls projects across plant departments; install and support floor-based manufacturing systems.
  • Communicate operational challenges to management and ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management System standards.
  • Foster a safety-conscious environment, adhering to all company policies, reporting unsafe conditions and incidents, and complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in industrial control systems, or a combination of education and experience.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
