Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Director to join our team at the United States District Court. This is a unique opportunity to lead complex technology projects and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Leverage your expertise in project management to oversee multiple agile teams developing case management systems for federal courts.
  • Develop and implement standard guidelines, processes, policies, and procedures for program and project management in an agile environment.
  • Provide government oversight of contractor staff on multiple agile teams and lead, manage, and mentor personnel.
  • Create a collaborative work environment, improve program and project management, and explore best practices for operational efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead concurrent projects with changing priorities, timeframes, and scope of services.
  • Evaluate and resolve issues, conduct gate reviews, and perform project management reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Foster growth and maturity among team members, promote collaboration, and encourage accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least two years of specialized experience in project management, process improvement, written and oral communication, and client engagement.
  • Experience working in an agile IT organization, managing internal and external coalitions, and mentoring team members.

Benefits:

  • $120,000 - $180,000 annual salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
