Job Summary

The Chief Pilot is a critical role at Gregory Industries, responsible for overseeing all flight operations and ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of flights. This position requires a seasoned pilot with excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all flight operations, including planning, execution, and post-flight analysis
  • Manage a team of pilots, providing guidance and support to ensure they are properly trained and certified
  • Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe and efficient flight operation
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve flight operations, including training programs and safety protocols
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of flight operations with other business functions
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing flight operations, with a strong background in aviation safety and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of pilots
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Education and Experience
  • FAA Airline Transport Certificate with an applicable Type Rating, and Multi-Engine Rating
  • Minimum 4,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time, with at least 3,000 hours in Multi-Engine Aircraft and 1,500 hours in Turbo Jet Aircraft
