Job Title: Assessment Specialist

Aspire Health Partners is seeking a skilled Assessment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential functions to assess, diagnose, and refer individuals seeking mental health or substance abuse services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register clients in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Complete thorough biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Assign accurate DSM-5 diagnoses for in-person assessors.
  • Verbally de-escalate clients in crisis.
  • Provide referrals to appropriate internal and external programs.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments.
  • Follow all program-specific protocols.
  • Maintain required credentials.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Services preferred, or Master's Degree in Psychology with relevant experience.
  • Telephonic Assessors may have Bachelor's Degree in Social Services.
  • Superior communication and documentation abilities.
  • 1 year working with target population.
  • Pass a Level II Background clearance.
