Job Title: Addictions Counseling Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Addictions Counseling Professor to join our team at Clark College. As a Professor of Addictions Counseling, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Addictions Counseling program.

Responsibilities:
  • Instruct classes in Addictions Counseling using active learning approaches that engage and facilitate student learning.
  • Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.
  • Pursue professional development to stay current in the field.
  • Obtain and maintain Professional-Technical Certification requirements.
  • Participate in program, curriculum development, and assessment activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, businesses, advisory committees, and other educational partners to create unique learning opportunities.
  • Participate in decision-making processes by taking part in department and college committees.
  • Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
  • Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.
  • Work cooperatively in a variety of department-level activities and college-wide projects.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a Social Sciences field.
  • 3 years' clinical experience as an addictions counselor.
  • Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and economically diverse backgrounds.
Salary and Benefits:

Lecture hourly rate is $90.47, Lab rate is $77.27. This is a part-time position, and the salary will be commensurate with experience.
