Position OverviewRole Summary:

Telemetry Nursing Assistant - 3-South - Full-Time
  • Dedicated and certified caregiver operating under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Accountable for delivering designated care in accordance with established practice standards.
  • Possesses sufficient knowledge to interact with patients across all age demographics.
  • All personnel are expected to consistently monitor and comply with safety protocols and initiatives.

I. Essential Qualifications, Training, and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Aide in Kentucky or successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course (first semester) in an accredited nursing program, along with validation of a clinical rotation aligned with educational level.
  • Certifications relevant to the unit include:
    • BLS
    • LTA
    • CNA Patient Deterioration
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology is required.
