Job Title: RN-Telemetry
Job Summary: Baptist Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify and prioritize patient needs, and make sound clinical decisions.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, Techs, and Unit Secretaries as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, and maintain current certifications and licenses.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.
- Certifications based on the unit worked, including BLS, ACLS, BCA, LTA, 12 Lead EKG, Patient Deterioration, and NIH Stroke.
