Job Overview

As a Loss Investigator I/II at Westamerica Bank, you will play a critical role in maintaining the bank's security and integrity by investigating and analyzing operational losses. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and investigate operational losses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  2. Collaborate with branch personnel, law enforcement agencies, and legal counsel to resolve issues related to operational losses and security policies.
  3. Review and process operational loss charge-offs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  4. Monitor the Verafin system for suspicious activity and identify potential security threats.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two to five years of experience in branch banking or loss investigation are required for this position. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential for success in this role.
