Job Responsibilities

The Loss Investigator I/II will analyze and file timely Reports of Financial Elder/Adult Abuse, providing technical support to various departments and branches. The role involves functioning as a liaison between branch personnel, law enforcement agencies, and legal counsel for matters related to operational losses and security policies.

The investigator will assist with external and internal loss investigations, compile data, and produce departmental reports for management. Key responsibilities include reviewing operational loss charge-offs, filing SARS as warranted, and monitoring the Verafin system for fraudulent deposit activity.

Requirements

To perform this job, you should have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. A minimum of two to five years of experience in branch banking or loss investigation is required, along with knowledge of bank operations, security procedures, law enforcement methods, and proficiency in MS Office software.
