Electrical Engineer - Water Sector

Stantec is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Water Sector team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing electrical projects in the water sector, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute electrical projects in the water sector, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and other related infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project progress and resolve issues.
  • Perform technical calculations and prepare project documents, including engineering reports, presentations, and technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on the water sector.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and operation.
  • Experience with CAD software, including AutoCAD and BIM.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
