Job Description

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work with a school in the Hazleton, PA area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student communication skills, identify communication disorders, and determine program eligibility
  • Coordinate meetings to present evaluation results, develop treatment plans, and/or provide training to parents/students/staff
  • Instruct support staff in the use of assistive devices or feeding techniques, or oversee the implementation of treatment plans
  • Orient students who use communication technologies to support classroom learning
  • Prepare written materials to document treatment progress and/or convey information
  • Respond to inquiries from parents, teachers, staff, students, etc.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Pennsylvania SLP license
  • Clearances from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
