This full-time role requires night shift availability and presents avenues for career advancement and skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the health conditions of psychiatric patients and provide expert nursing care
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and execute individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, conduct triage, and manage crisis situations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality care standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license in New Mexico or a state with reciprocity
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
  • CPR certification is mandatory
  • Previous relevant experience is advantageous
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist in moving patients

Work Environment:

  • Potential exposure to physical risks when interacting with aggressive patients
  • Contact with chemicals and biohazardous materials may occur
