Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plastics Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes in composite molding. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in developing efficient and repeatable molding techniques for various applications, including but not limited to boat hulls and industrial components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess product designs, material selections, and tolerance specifications to refine and innovate closed mold vacuum infusion methodologies.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of reinforcement construction permeability, resin viscosity, and pressure differentials to optimize resin flow within the mold.
  • Create and maintain precise bills of materials to support production accuracy.
  • Regularly inspect existing processes to identify opportunities for enhancement in productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with vacuum infusion or similar closed mold processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or a comparable technical qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in process development within a composite manufacturing setting.
