Precise Systems is seeking a skilled Composite Technician to support our NAVSEA Carderock customer. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and execute composite manufacturing and repair projects with a team.
  • Ability to plan, prepare, and execute composite manufacturing and repair projects with a team.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
Requirements:
  • A high school/vocational degree or GED certificate.
  • ABYC Composite Boat Builder certification or at least three years of demonstrated experience with hand lamination, vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM), and prepreg lamination in an industrial environment.
  • Five years of demonstrated experience performing laminations in a boatyard or shipyard environment.
  • Five years of demonstrated experience assembling or repairing composite hulls, bulkheads, or components using adhesive bonding and mechanical fastening.
  • Five years of demonstrated experience fabrication and repair of cored composite components.
