Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage extensive knowledge of cyberspace operations to develop Cyber Ops Planning products across the Air Force Network (AFIN). Utilize experience in computer network defense and familiarity with joint publications to ensure effective integration and execution of cyber operations.
  • Assist in defining and documenting both strategic and tactical long-range plans, ensuring mission assurance through cyberspace for Air Force weapon systems.
  • Interpret national defense strategies to facilitate comprehensive campaign planning, aligning with directives from senior defense officials.
  • Conduct systematic assessments of cyberspace operations to evaluate the achievement of policy objectives and strategic plans.
  • Plan and refine Cyber Ops Planning products and associated training to support mission success.
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of command policies and coordinate with various military and defense partners.
  • Identify resource requirements for campaign objectives and analyze existing policies to develop new or revised plans.
  • Facilitate collaborative planning and operations across the Department of Defense and Combatant Commands.
  • Utilize technical expertise to guide data collection and analysis for Cyber Ops Planning products.
  • Keep senior leadership informed of significant issues and necessary corrective actions.
  • Engage with counterparts within the Department of Defense to enhance analysis effectiveness.
  • Participate in relevant conferences and meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Air Force Cyber Operations.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Operational Planning.
  • Strong understanding of Air Force Cyber Operations and capabilities.
  • Active 8570 Certification, including at least one of the following: Security Plus CE, CND, CySA+, CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CISSP (or Associate); SCNP, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.
  • On-site support is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Security Clearance:

  • Must possess a current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Ability to obtain SAP/SAR eligibility as necessary.

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal travel required, less than 10%.

Telework Potential:

  • This position requires on-site presence.
