About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and experience in performing patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and implementing treatment plans according to approved protocols.

As a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider at Cook Children's, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain your own volume of patients under the supervision of a physician, provide coverage for practices, clinics, and calls as needed, and round for physicians during periods of absence.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Design and implement education programs for patients and families to promote healthy habits and disease prevention.
Requirements:

Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and minimum 1 year of experience in related specialized area strongly preferred.

Certified as a PA-C and current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
