Job Title: Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Children's Therapy Place. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care to children and their families.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide Certified Occupational Therapy services to clients, initiate referrals when appropriate, and coordinate treatment plans. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and be responsible for implementing and conducting treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and documenting results.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Certified Occupational Therapy services to clients and initiate referrals when appropriate.
  • Coordinate treatment plans for clients and provide copies for family and other professionals.
  • Implement and conduct treatment plans as outlined in treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment as indicated to attain goals.
  • Document results of clients' assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services.
  • Adapt treatment to meet the individual needs of the client.
  • Instruct clients and family members in appropriate occupational therapy procedures or home programs to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
  • Participate in client, family, and staff education.
Requirements:
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree
  • National Credentialing Board certification
  • Must be licensed in the state of Idaho
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members, and other facility personnel
  • Project a positive and professional image at all times
