We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at North Hawaii Community Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, using the nursing process and adhering to standards of care.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency department patient care under the supervision of the Director of Critical Care Unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Document patient care in accordance with nursing practice and standards of care
- Collaborate with the trauma team to provide care for patients with traumatic injuries
- Participate in stroke code and STEMI protocols as needed
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license for the State of Hawaii
- Two or more years of emergency nursing experience
- Competency in basic ECG skills
The QNHCH Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center for the Northern Region of the Island of Hawaii. We have a trauma team available 24/7 and participate in stroke code and STEMI protocols.
Additional DetailsQueen's is open to Hawaii residents, but they will not be offered traveler rates. All compliance must be completed 10 days before start date. Please include a current Nursys report for all submissions.
