Critical Care Nurse Specialist

The ideal candidate for this position should have a valid RN license, experience in a SICU or critical care setting, and a passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Providing direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing mechanical ventilation.
- Assessment: Continuously assessing the patient's condition, identifying any changes, and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Documentation: Accurately documenting patient assessment, interventions, and medications in the medical record.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists, to develop and implement a plan of care for each patient.
- Education: Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatments, and medications.
- Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations, including code blue events, and providing life-saving interventions as necessary.
- Quality Improvement: Participating in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects to improve patient outcomes.
- Professional Development: Maintaining knowledge and skills through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
This is a contracted travel position with TLC NURSING SERVICES.
