Job Summary

Hilo Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine imaging, including radiopharmaceutical preparation, camera quality control, and general nuclear medicine imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiopharmaceutical preparation, camera quality control, and general nuclear medicine imaging
  • Conduct EKG prep and monitoring for cardiac exams
  • Receive and document radioactive shipments
  • Perform NRC required daily and weekly quality control
Requirements
  • Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment
  • 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine
  • Required skills include radiopharmaceutical preparation, camera quality control, and general nuclear medicine imaging
Work Environment

This is a day shift position, with 8-hour shifts and 40 hours of work per week. The dress code is scrubs, street clothes, and lab coat. Floating to other units/departments is based on competency and licensure.
