Job Summary

Mike Bass Ford is seeking experienced Ford Isuzu Hino truck technicians to fill a full-time position at our Sheffield Village location in Ohio. This role offers hourly pay plus commission in a Medium Duty Truck Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements on Ford, Isuzu, and Hino trucks.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on trucks, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to accurately identify problems and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations for additional services.
  • Complete all work in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Continuously expand knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and manufacturer-provided training programs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a truck technician, preferably with Ford, Isuzu, or Hino trucks.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry advancements and changes.
