Maintenance Crafts Technician

The Maintenance Apprentice at Channellock, Inc. plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance crafts work, including installation and repair of equipment and facilities using drawings of electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical systems, buildings, and structures.

You will diagnose breakdowns of equipment and facilities, determine procedures to carry out repairs using drawings, maintenance manuals, manufacturer's manuals, and instructions, and apply principles of rigging and equipment installation.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about maintaining high standards of quality and safety, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This role offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and the importance of total productive maintenance (TPM) in achieving lean manufacturing goals.

You will also be required to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete an industrial maintenance apprenticeship program offered by Precision Manufacturing Institute (or a similar degree) within a specified timeframe.
