Job Title: Sales Associate - Fashion Retailer

At PacSun, we're looking for a Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating sales through exhibiting passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends with all customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Reflect the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
  • Contribute to a positive working environment by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors.
  • Maintain and drive the company's fashion image by adhering to the Employee Appearance Guidelines.
  • Demonstrate willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn what is unknown about product, brands, fashion, and trends.
  • Strive to improve individual performance while working as a productive member of the team.
Customer Experience:
  • Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience with all customers.
  • Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
  • Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, attempt to solve for yes, and partner with the leadership when dealing with escalated issues.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Execute all visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company and as directed by the management team.
  • Support high standards of organization and cleanliness, promoting a safe working and shopping environment to maximize the customer experience.
  • Uphold and comply with all company policies as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual, Code of Business Conduct, Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program.
  • Comply with all Loss Prevention policies and communicate violations directly to the leadership team or via the Silent Witness Hotline.
  • Share feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience.
Results Driven:
  • Actively participate in all company and store contests and events.
  • Stay current on all financial goals and priorities.
  • Assist the leadership team in achieving all sales and operational goals.

Pay Range: Minimum Wage - $17.50

Offer placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, store volume, and geographic location.

Qualifications:
  • Education/Skills/Experience:
    • Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
    • Excellent selling skills.
    • Proven to exhibit a friendly, out-going, open-minded, engaging personality that enjoys being a team player.
    • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
    • Basic math and computer proficiency.
    • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands:
    • List equipment to be operated, lifting requirements, crouching, bending, etc. required by the job.
