Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing quantity estimates and managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare detailed estimates.
  • Consult with clients, vendors, and team members to discuss and formulate estimates.
  • Maintain accurate information on prices from suppliers and contractors.
  • Prepare bid packages, estimates, and analysis of subcontractor bids.
  • Manage projects from scheduling to cost projections and billing.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and startup lists to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist Estimating by providing feedback on job progress and field measurements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Five years of construction estimating experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
