About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Educator to join our team at KinderCare Education. As a Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners and supporting the growth and development of our teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom, modeling best practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Implement our research-backed curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child, fostering a love of learning and a strong foundation for future success.
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and grow.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, working collaboratively to provide the best possible care and education for their children.
  • Support the success of your center, partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
  • Approved state trainer (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Ability to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Capacity to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
